Had my brother in law come from Ottawa and we wanted to go for buffet for south Indian kerala food and found Kairali.
It has a wide spread and the food is tasty feels home cooked and to top it all the people are friendly...
The food was not spicy and could see a Canadian couple enjoy the food as well. We will love to come back again.. -

We always order here. Now that we don't live close by, we do take outs mostly. Recommended this for out weekly lunch take out via UberEats at work and my coworkers now think I'm such a pro in finding restaurants with good food lol. Also had a small group party at home and got lazy to cook, ordered batches of Lamb biryani, all my guest are impressed lol.
Price for the portions are reasonable. Always recommend when someone is asking mew about Indian food.
I left one star off for a couple of reasons, maybe I should have taken 2 off but the food is just too good.
Anyway, reason 1, our previous order of Nadan Beef Fry (via UberEats) was only half filled. The other half was onion and chili lol.
Reason 2: Our latest order was Fish in banana leaf, we paid $15.99 and this was supposed to be a Pomfret Fish but we got a slice of their King Fish Fry, that was the $11.99. I didn't bother to call in coz it was late at night and I didn't have the energy to complain but yeah, I paid more. -

Heard about this place recently through my colleague at work. Me an my wife thought will try it out last long weekend while driving by on Kennedy for a take out. We just got the Fish Biryani which my colleague had mentioned and also being a favourite dish of my wife. It really was the best Fish Biryani we have tried till now. It had the perfect South Indian touch with the right amount of spice. We will surely go back here to try out other Kerala dishes like paratha and fish/mutton curry.

Kairali is one of my favourite Indian restaurants. The food is very fresh and has the right amount of spice. You can definitely customize how much spice you want as well. The atmosphere is also very lively and very busy - filled with locals. Apart from the excellent food, my favourite thing about this restaurant is the prices! It is not as expensive as most Indian restaurants and the portions are very generous. My only complaint is the wait time. It took quite a while for us to get our food once we were seated but then again, the restaurant was also VERY full! I love this place and can't wait to return :)

Seriously guys, this place is the bomb. I used to live close to this place. After I moved I have been trying out new places in midtown as well as downtown core. However, I still come back to this place cos other places I've been to are not as good. You can def. tell that they use the best ingredients and always serve it hot and fresh. Hands down on the butter paneer! Thank you for making such amazing flavours
